If you haven't already guessed it my name is Jaime. I'm a "recently turned" 30 year old. How recent? I'm not telling. I'm not exactly where I thought I would be at 30. Ya know the 2.5 kids, house with the white picket fence (or any house for that matter), going to PTA meetings (or maybe not), all around living the American Dream. **insert BIG sigh** Instead I am living on a 37ft trawler (that's a boat for those that don't know) in Ballard with my E-Harmony catch (the best $100 I've spent on the internet) and lab great dane Depot (the best thing I've found on Craigslist so far).
I decided to start a blog with the encouragement of my better half (who insists I have a Facebook addiction which may or not be true but that does not matter right now). According to him I talk a lot (or too much - I don't remember his exact words) and I check Facebook obsessively. What is the definition of obsessive anyways? I'll let you know after I check my Facebook. Anyhoo, I am going to "practice" transferring my verbal thoughts onto the interweb for anyone and everyone to see.
WARNING For those friends and family that are what some may call "sensitive" - I wanted to apologize in advance that this will NOT be a toned down version of Jaime. You are going to get the full meal deal here folks.
